How exactly does the Cover Spa Box work?+
The rigid insulating apron is built into a box installed at the back of the spa. With one push, it travels above the basin, then lowers at the end of its travel to seal against the rim via a gasket. Opening happens the same way in reverse, in a few seconds.
What's the actual footprint of the box?+
The box only protrudes 10 cm above your spa, needs 80 cm of depth at the rear, and 20 cm more than the width of your spa on each side. It can be installed on whichever side you prefer and preserves a full 360° view around the spa.
How well insulated is the apron?+
The apron is made of a rigid 50 mm panel: an HPL shell with a white underside and a chocolate-colored surface, and an XPS insulating core. Performance equivalent to a padded polystyrene cover, with far better durability.
Is the seal really guaranteed?+
Yes. The patented Cover Spa Box system lowers the apron at the very end of its travel: it presses down onto the top of the spa via a perimeter gasket. No thermal bridge, no infiltration possible.
Is child safety ensured?+
Yes. The apron locks automatically in the closed position. No child or adult can force it open without the motorized mechanism.
What do I need for installation?+
Just a standard power outlet at the foot of the spa, a concrete slab under the box to secure the anchors, and around 80 cm of free space behind it. Installation is carried out in under 1 hour by your professional dealer.
